Closing thoughts!

Guys, big thanks to your support. It wouldn't be possible without you. We secured roughly ~350 orders over 30 days. We started this project in November, and on a short and aggressive timeline made this happen in about 7 months.

We received SEVERAL emails from people with arthritis, CP, and other neurological/physical impairments saying that they can't wait to get their orders. This makes me incredibly fulfilled and happy as a creator and inventor. I'm glad to release Clip Grip into the market as a cost-effective viable drinking solution to help impaired people hydrate independently. 

For everyone else- enjoy your convenient, colorful handles. Your support has been excellent. It's awesome. You're awesome. And I'm about to go start shipping boxes.

Hi All,

Its been nearly two months since completion of principal photography and we are nearing our completion of post.

They say that the film gets made three times, once when its written, once when its shot, and once when edited and in our experience that was certainly the case, but as we finish up color correction it seemed fitting to reach out to all of you. 

July is fast approaching and we're beginning to look at dates for a private backer screening as well as finalizing when the private copies will go out to the appropriate individuals.

With that in mind, if you have order a physical perk but have not provided shipping information, please contact us. We want to make sure everybody gets their perks smoothly.

I know if you've spoken to me, you've probably heard me absolutely glowing about how the campaign finished, but let me just reiterate.

We hit 93% percent of goal.

Having your campaign close after production can be a risk. It was a risk that we fully understood when we chose that date, but you (yes, you) did not disappoint.

I am happy to say that with your help and not only that was the project completed on budget, but we were able to afford an original score composed by Matthew Okuda (love you Matt). 

You took this small project and turned it into a real production, and for that we are forever grateful.

Big Announcement!

You guys are the first to know about our recently inked deal to partner up with iHorror.com on SKYMAN! They’ve come on board to aid in our promotion and marketing efforts throughout our journey and we’re using this project to be a launching pad for many more down the road. 

iHorror.com, if you don’t already know, has a big influence online in this genre with millions of viewers and as SKYMAN partners, they’ll be able to leverage this audience to our huge advantage. We’re just getting started and we know that with their  massive reach, SKYMAN will become the hit we know it can be.

Stay tuned for the official press release to come.

In other news: ROSWELL is 15 days away! The hotel is booked, tickets in hand and myself and “Carl” (and possibly iHorror.com ), will be traipsing through the New Mexico desert to get tons of amazing coverage during the annual UFO fest. It’s the grandaddy of them all and sure to provide us with as many awesome moments as did the McMenamins Fest did back in May.

Things are really starting to heat up, so keep your tinfoil hats ready.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to our community for helping us not only reach, but surpass our goal!!

I am so humbled by the support - we have been able to not only competitively compensate the artists who poured so much of their time and talent into this project, but cover all the logistical needs that are essential to making artwork. Transportation, costuming, space rental, sound and film production needs - all these support elements were integral to making this film as professional and high-quality as it could be.

Hello Amazing Backers!

I'm excited to share that all the Nessa water bottles have shipped and been delivered in the US (with the exception of one which is currently delayed). Overseas backers, yours will arrive next week :) I hope you all enjoy them and get plenty of use out of them this summer. I'm definitely drinking lots more icy cold water everyday thanks to the 25oz. For those who have tags me @christineduell or @nessabrushspa in a post about them thank you! Keep them coming!

Hi Backers!

Thank you so much for supporting us! We have raised 5k, and our 15k away from our goal.

We've been working hard on completing all the animation for the piece. We're currently testing out how the animations work within our real time interactive game engine.

We have placed an order for all the LED components, and will be beginning to assemble the presentation screens in a week or two.

We've finalized our construction plans for the physical build, which is going to take place July 20 - 21 in Philly. 

Things are moving! But we still need quite a bit of help on the funding side. Please share this project with your friends, like our Facebook page, and help spread the word.

The HAND of the MAN campaign is off to a great start!  27% funded in less than 48 hours!  22 days to go.

I'm still catching my breath on the campaign launch, but I'll be responding to you individually to plan any details of your perk selection, so I appreciate your patience.

We’re back with a key update!

This project has been a huge undertaking – bringing not just one, but four brand-new products to market. Our entire staff has been dedicated to the many aspects of the process, including design enhancements and lengthy, rigorous testing and quality assurance to ensure that each piece meets G-RO’s highest standards. Having been intensely involved with the entire production, we know you’ll be thrilled with all 4 bags - and we thank you for your passion and patience through it all! 

We’re excited to announce that the Check-in, Backpack XV and Backpack Light are finishing production and will be preparing to ship soon thereafter. Due to our demands for only the best construction and quality, the Office will be delayed by 3-4 weeks.

IMPORTANT: Please double check your address on your BackerKit survey (if you have not already done so). You can retrieve your survey at: g-ro.backerkit.com.

Delivery Info 

As there are different delivery timelines based on region and products ordered, we will be communicating personally with you via email regarding your specific delivery estimate. Please keep an eye out for this shipping update email.

Electronics

We have experienced other delays (e.g. shipping electronic goods designated as hazardous) with the power bank and Tile. As we did not want to unnecessarily delay the shipment of the bags, we have decided to ship these products separately at a later time, despite the additional cost. We will provide an updated timeline in the weeks to come.

Hi Everyone,

 

We finalized the color options we plan to make available for our IGG backers. This table below serves as a heads up to give everyone an idea what will be available. We will have photos of these colors available by the time you have to pick your color and size when you ‘check out’ AFTER the campaign has ended. As you can see at the bottom we have now included the 6 vegan combinations with 3 vegan colors as well as 5 new leather combinations with 3 new leather colors.

 

For the ones of you who have been following us since our Kickstarter days and who have seen leather/sole combinations we had offered there, the magnetic gray is similar in texture and finish to shimmering vanilla and Cinderella blue (just in gray color). The new bronze and dark emerald snake print colors are similar in texture and finish to the black patent snake print leather option.

 

With 30 combinations to choose from and 20% being VEGAN options, we hope that everyone will find their model(s).
