Windy greetings from Finland,
Our team and industrial designer - Antti Ylisassi have finished the design for QuietOn Sleep last week and we are very proud of it.
What's New
After many more usability tests with our focus group, we learned that due to customers’ ear anatomy is varied, during the sleep, some users (who are side sleepers) have the ear outer anatomy (helix, scapha, antihelical fold) at times touch the sleeping/hearing mode tapping area, leading to some random switching.
We experimented with different designs and found this solution. This new design replaces the capacitive touch switch with a mechanical button, which makes it easier to navigate, and use regardless of the users’ sleeping postures.
The build is successful and validated by further rounds of testing with the focus group. Other steps are continued to get the earplugs manufactured by October.
