Meet our costume and set designer Gini Godwin

Gini and Sophia started working together in 2013, on the set of a feature film produced by Fizz and Ginger Films and Sir Ian McKellan. It was 70s stylised hitman story. They most recently finished filming a dark comedy directed by Sam Callis and starring Sophie Thompson, produced by Breakneck Films. Currently they are involved in filming science fiction short set in distopian world of future london. The government of an overpopulated country constantly checks it’s population trying to hunt down non bar coded refugees after reinforcing a one child policy. The food is scarce, the capital crumbles into slums and one family desperately tries to stay together.

We're in the final week of the campaign! Thanks you so much for all the contributions so far. We still need more contributions to make it to our target so please share and contribute if you can!

We have been busy working on the film since the campaign went live - one of the main things we have been working on is getting the Soundtrack together. We're thrilled to let you all know that… drumroll... rising star Mahalia has just joined us on the Honeytrap soundtrack! Just 16, Mahalia was scouted by Ed Sheehan for Sony and Warners at the age of just 12 and she is a singer-songwriter in the classic mould of soul and blues - you will be hearing a lot more from her.

Hello,

I hope you are all well! It’s been varying lengths of time since I’ve last spoken to you all, and way too long since the last update on Knoxville. For this, I apologize. You have all been so generous to us and I’m sure it’s taken every bit of restraint not to track me to my house and shake me down for the movie.

For a myriad of reasons the work on Knoxville had slowed to a sporadic pace but now it is finally nearing completion. Fat has been trimmed and darlings have been killed and now the only things left to complete are the soundtrack, some audio tweaking, some light title design, and color correction. You will have your copies of the film soon along with the promised perks as it heads out to film festivals.

I wanted to thank you all for being so patient and kind to us. Because of your generosity a small group of filmmakers were able to go to Knoxville Tennessee to make a movie about growing up.

Hello dear campaign readers, 

We've reached one quarter of our goal already!! This is incredibly exciting and I wanted to personally thank every single person who donated and/or shared our campaign with their friends. It means so much. We're making this record happen together – we're all apart of it, and when it's done, it'll be all of ours. 

As promised, I'm going to keep uploading little pieces of media the more we raise. Today I've decided to share a clip from my demo entitled "Are You Really For Me." It may appear on the final LP. Hope you enjoy it, and thanks again to all those who are helping to move this campaign along.
